The Allam cycle is a novel that capitalizes on the unique thermodynamic properties of supercritical CO2 and advantages oxy-fuel combustion for power generation capture. This study aims to confirm outstanding performance coal-fired with aid an exergetic analysis provide detailed important information real inefficiencies within cycle. results show overall efficiency 40.6%, near 100% carbon highest exergy destruction occurs gasifier, which contributes 29.1% destruction, followed by chamber (17.4%), air separation unit (7.4%) turbine (4.1%). In addition, obtained from in this are compared those gas-fired contribution combustor higher than total share gasifier system destruction. sensitivity shows specific demand unit, as well inlet pressure, outlet pressure isentropic have significant impacts efficiency.
